How are we to understand God's design and purpose for work?

Do you ever wonder what your 8am-5pm (and beyond!) job has to do with God's Kingdom purposes? Are you just supposed to grind it out and wait for retirement to do what you really want to do? What voices are you listening to when it comes to how you should think about your work?

Join us this summer for an interactive 6-week course to explore these questions in community. We'll dive deeper into a theology of work, wrestle through ideas about calling and vocation and learn about the integration of faith and work from seasoned professionals in various occupations.

There are 6 sessions Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:30 pm between June 13 - July 25th (skipping the week of July 4th). We'll have dinner together, teaching, small group interaction* and practical application.

Are you a small group leader? Ministry leader? Friend of people who work?

Do you lead an existing small group? Are looking for some unique content to go through together? This is a new opportunity for an existing small group or simply a group of friends or co-workers to engage in curated content on faith and work together. You’ll be able to host your own table with the people you invite. You will have access to material in order to be able to lead the discussion around your table after the teaching time. Everything will be provided for you to be able to facilitate your group. Facilitators attend for free, but must agree to the guidelines laid out here.

Instructions for Creating Your Group

When you register, you have the option to “get tickets as a group facilitator” for free. It will ask if you have the names of people in your group, please list any that you know at the time. When people in your group register as a participant there will also be a question asking if they are registering as part of a group and who the facilitator is.
